Hotel arbaso****

We have reserved a discounted block of rooms at the Hotel Arbaso, a boutique four-star hotel that opened in 2020. It is located at the heart of the city center, across the street from San Sebastian Cathedral and five minutes’ walk from La Concha beach and the Old Town. Hotel maria cristina*****

Inaugurated in 1912 by former Queen Maria Cristina, this luxury five-star hotel overlooking the Urumea River has hosted visiting celebrities and royalty in San Sebastián for over 100 years. We will be staying at the Maria Cristina for the week of the wedding, but unfortunately we are unable to reserve a discounted block of rooms due to the small size of our wedding. However, discounted rates are available for AAA members through the hotel’s website, and added perks (e.g., free breakfast, free upgrades, early check-in/late check-out, food & beverage credits, etc.) are available for American Express Platinum cardholders for bookings made through American Express Travel, as well as for bookings made through travel agents including our amazing travel agent Michelle London at Away We Globe (info@awayweglobe.com or 310-881-3828).

The Hotel Villa Victoria is a modern two-star hotel that opened in 2018. It is located only a few blocks from La Concha beach, and is only five minutes’ walk from to the city center and 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. While we are unable to offer a block of rooms, the hotel offers very good rates through their website.

If you’re looking for a “local” experience, or simply want more room to spread out, renting an apartment is a great idea.
